In order to realize a vision, you must first have a goal. The goal of The Word of Grace and Truth Ministries is to lift up a biblical standard in the community. This is a standard by which people of all races and backgrounds can come and learn how to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus.
The vision that has been placed in the heart of the Pastor is to see the Body of Christ realize its potential by coming together in unity of spirit. This cannot be realized by denominational barriers nor can it be accomplished by leaders attempting to lord over what rightfully belongs to God.
The vision is to see ministries birthed and supported as they endeavor to do that which God has purposed for them. The vision is to raise up a generation that will go back to the Bible and do away with the unscriptural traditions and formalities that have placed portions of the Body of Christ in a slumbering state.
The vision of The Word of Grace and Truth Ministries is to show the world that we are truly that which God has called us to be and to become such an effective witness in the community that it will cause an outward change in the community as well as the all-important inward change, which God does to the heart of man.
We believe that all scripture, both Old and New Testaments, is given by Divine inspiration, and is the inerrant revelation of God to man.
We believe that there is one true Living God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, Mary being with child of the Holy Spirit, that He is the Son of God and the Son of man.
We believe that Jesus came to save men from the penalty of sin by offering Himself as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. His blood is the atonement that makes salvation available to those who believe in Him.
We believe that one who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ and is baptized will be saved; belief is the inward acceptance of Christ and baptism is the outward testimony of belief.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who indwells the child of God (the Christian believer) enabling one to live a life of holiness.
We believe that man is subject to bodily death as a result of original sin. The Soul and the spirit do not die, but immediately after death enters into a conscious state of happiness or misery according to the character he possessed.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost without Christ to eternal damnation.
We believe in the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and the Church being taken away with Him as His glorious bride.
We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
